“Window Shoppe – Magicseal Magnetic Thermal Windows

Ronald McDonald House South Island (RMH South Island Trust) is an independent registered charitable Trust based in Christchurch.

Our mission is to provide free accommodation and support to families whose children need to travel to Christchurch to receive medical treatment.

We recently installed Magicseal Magnetic Thermal Windows in part of our facility. These were supplied and installed by the Window Shoppe team.

We were extremely impressed with the speed and accuracy or the installation. The windows involved are all older style and of many different shapes and sizes – the team were able to handle these with ease.  We were particularly pleased that the aesthetic of the stained glass windows was not compromised. The Magicseal system blends perfectly into the existing frames of the windows.

Since the installing the Magicseal system we have found that the noise from road traffic outside the facility has been reduced. The temperature in the facility is also much more pleasant and consistent.

The cost of this system was significantly lower than other double glazing options that we investigated. The Window Shoppe team have also come on board as supporters of Ronald McDonald House South Island – investing in Kiwi families who are experiencing childhood illness.
